Next week, I&#8217;m going to make a muslin of the shorts to be sure I&#8217;ve got the right fit. Making sure that the details of the fly and leg stripe are neat and in the right places. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wanted to emotionally get ready to finish drafting the pattern and learn the details of sewing the shorts. To be sure I had the details in my head, I reviewed the Ginger Jeans pattern and  watched the fly and waistband segments of this video about making jeans by Cornelius Quiring.
